Head Coach Emmele Herrold
Emmele Herrold grew up in Pleasant Ridge, and spent all of her summers at the pool. She was a swimmer, a lifeguard, the manager, and the coach, until she was 23, when she moved out of state. Emmele currently lives in Ferndale and is co-owner and Chef of Hazels, a restaurant in Birmingham. ”Coaching has always been a passion, especially coaching kids from this community, a community that was an integral part of shaping who I am today. I am so happy to be at a point in my career that I have The time to re-enter the world of PR swim! I look Forward to a great season, and many more to come” lemme know if you need more! Swimming has always been a passion of mine. Like Coach Emmele, I grew up in Pleasant Ridge. I was a member of the swim team as a kid. I was also a life guard and a big part of the PR community. I am so happy for my kids to be a part of the same community. I am looking forward to coaching this summer and getting to know all of the swimmers. It’s going to be an awesome summer. I'm Anna!!
This will be my third year coaching at PR! You probably remember me as coach Mary’s sister. I’m a student and cheerleader at grand valley state university and I’m so excited for warm weather, to be outside, and for a fun season!! Hi I’m Brynne!
This will be my second year coaching on the PR swim team, but I was a swimmer on the team from age 8 to 18! I have lived in Pleasant Ridge for my whole life, and am now attending the University of Michigan. I can’t wait for another fun summer on the PR swim team! Hi I’m Molly!
